I was highly disappointed, and that made me very sad.
My experience with every Apple Store I've walked into in the past was that at least 4-5 team members would look up from what they were doing and say hello and make eye contact the moment I stepped in the door.
As I approached this location for the first time tonight, I saw about a dozen red shirted Apple team members and about 8 customers. I was impressed, initially, that there were so many team members at the ready and excited about my purpose for the visit.
I'll say up front that in any other store I visit, I don't want to be approached as I browse. But at Apple, I anticipate it and look forward to it. Tonight, however, I was ignored for fifteen minutes solid. No eye contact. No greeting. Zilch. I even stopped for 5 minutes to explore the Mac I've been itching to bring home and occasionally looked up to see if a red shirt was headed my way: Nope.
So, I walked out. Disheartened and without my new toys.
Town Center, here I come...
