  • First the hostess ignored me because she thought my parents were more important than I was even though the reservation was under my name. She eventually figured out that we were all in the same party after ignoring my check in when my mother politely told her we were all together. She also was unaccommodating when asked if there was a trash can near by. My mother ended up having to visit the restroom trash can before we were seated. When we ordered salads and asked for one more fork (a fork fell under the table) our server rolled his eyes at us (Lou). I asked for the simple mixed green salad (first on the menu) and was met with a rude attitude from the server about dressing. He seemed annoyed when he asked what dressing I would like for it and I responded with the pesto buttermilk (which was the standard dressing according to the menu). The entrees we ordered did not say on the menu if had any spicy ingredients but five of the six orders were too hot too eat. The Syrah blend we drank was just gross. Do not order it unless you'd like a flavor of immature wine mixed with kool aid. When the servers came to clear plates, we asked for boxes to take leftovers and were met with our server's now-signature eye roll. We tried to be appreciative and polite throughout the whole meal but everyone was uncomfortable because of the way menus were thrown at us and the obvious inconvenience we caused to the servers from asking for the food items and when we wanted the boxes for leftovers after. When one person was sipping their wine, he was informed that no more would be poured to him "if he kept swirling his glass" even though he'd had about one half of a glass of wine. While he was not looking for more to drink and an unsolicited threat, this is a good example of the condescending attitude that seemed to permeate every interaction with the staff. Ultimately the win was the alberino (white wine) and the brussel sprouts from the duck appetizer even though every piece of duck was more than fat than duck. I would suggest eating somewhere else. This restaurant was a disappointment and I won't be back.
