  • Id like to offer a bit of a warning regarding the level of ( lack of) customer service my wife recently experienced at this establishment. My wife has patronized a salon at this address for over 5 years, it has come under new ownership as Gelish Nail and Spa in the not to distant past. My wife has commented that during the initial changeover the service was fine, but recently the level of care has fallen steadily. Last Saturday, Oct 15th was the end of her relationship with this business. She entered the establishment late mid morning on Saturday to have a basic Pedicure ( this is her normal service), which in their "menu" is said to take 35 minutes. She describes the treatment and being nothing but "irritating" as the girl doing the treatment was distracted( staring out the window often) She had to ask the girl correct each nail a number of times because she failed to do an adequate job of filing and rounding the nails. No cuticle remover was used. The leg rub that is normally included was nothing but a light stroking of her legs with water ( which had fresh lime squeezed into it) , did not use any lotion and when she dried her legs, she had to be asked to also remove the remaining pieces of lime pulp that remained. The polish job was poor, she had to ask for several nails to be done over and even then the overall quality was poor and she had missed parts of several nails and didnt polish the tips. Within 20 minutes she was told the process was finished ( what happened to 35?). At this point my wife was frustrated and asked the girl about the 35 minutes promised. She was told basically that's how long the process takes from the time you come in the door to the time you leave.( maybe next time they will add your drive time as well). My wife explained that she was not satisfied with the service and end result was not satisfactory and asked for some consideration on the price..she was told a 10% discount. Unacceptable. My wife asked for the manager, of course he had left for the day so she paid the fee( minus 10 %) and left. IN the following days several of the nails have already started to chip. We called on Sunday and asked for the manager, he was not there. I called on Monday to speak with him, again, not there but was asked if i wanted to leave a message, i was pleasant and left my number. Tuesday morning i call again, not there. About 5:30 i called again and spoke with a gentleman, manger had left for the day I left my name and number again, please call . It is now Wednesday evening, still no contact fro the Salon. Congratulations to Gelish Nail and Spa for a complete failure in customer service. You have lost a longtime client who will also be sure to relate her experience to others.
