| - The Gap. For a Bloor St. uber prime location at Bay St., this location has to be one of the most unorganized, messy, Gap stores I have ever shopped in!
I have been a customer here on and off for a couple of years, and on top of the terrible merchandizing (which looks more like a bargain bin store as opposed to BLOOR St. expectations), every few months, just for fun (?), they change the men's "section" (which is small, I've seen way larger) and to boot, they just do not know which of their 3 floors is going to be their next women's floor, the next men's floor, the next kid's floor, etc. It is an exciting experience to find out every few months which floor I'm ever going to find clothing on.
Staff, I'm sorry are barely existent, and if that, when you do ask for help, it is a complete chore, like I am pulling them away from writing their greatest novel (no insult to writers). I've never EVER had a single employee approach me, ever, to ask if I need help. Need I say more on that topic?
But seriously Gap, this location has to really really up its customer service VIGOROUSLY, SERIOUSLY, clean shelves every hour if need be (and it is needed, i.e. a pile of shirts thrown onto a shelf is not what I expect from this store or Bloor St.), get more helpful people and friendly people on the floor and please, for the love of God, choose which floor belongs to which gender and stick to it.
I know The a Gap likes to change its look, its store image, which is fine, but I can't find anything in the store and I, 9/10 times walk out without anything in hand because they just ---love to move things around so the customer can play hide and go seek with clothing----.
I do expect way more from this location. For goodness, the Gap out in Sherway Gardens in Etobicoke, YES, that far out, has a more logical and clean and nice layout - come on Bloor St. Location, pull your socks way up (pun intended/not... intended....?)
