  • This is my new favorite place around madison! My husband and I have been in about 5 times. Each time we get bread and a selection of 3-4 random bakegoods from the glass case. I have yet to have ANYTHING that I wouldnt try again (and I am usually pretty picky). The bread is perfect - chewy and delicious - and the bakegoods are always a wonderful surprise. This morning I had a tomato pesto bread roll (sorry, dont remember the exact name). It just looked like bread with a bit of cheese on top ... until I bit into it and found the whole center was full of goat cheese, pesto, and dried tomatoes. It was WONDERFUL! We also had a mini raspberry cream cheese thing that was a bit of heaven (or maybe hell as I am sure it was very naughty in terms of calories), and a cheese filled croissant. The only problem with these bakegoods is that they never last until we get home! I am not fat, but I could get that way if this place was any closer to my house...
