| - Waffles, waffles, wafffffles! Pretty much everything here has something to do with waffles. Waffle sammiches, desserty waffle sundaes, and waffle pizzas?! You really have to appreciate the innovativeness of the owners of this place!
The waffles are really good. It has a good crisp to the outside and its soft in the inside which is what a waffle should be!
The breakfast sandwich is awesome. It's like all your favorite breakfast items in one bite! Waffles, bacon, sausage (it came with ham, but I swapped it out for sausage), egg. It comes with their special sauce, which you can opt to get it on the side. I can't put my finger on what the sauce is, but I don't like it - its taste makes me feel weird. I'd much rather drench the sandwich with syrup, but that's just me.
Also try the Yooni's special - it's pretty delicious. It has your basic sundae toppings all over it. Ice cream, strawberries, bananas, whip cream, chocolate sauce. At $7+, I think it's a bit pricey. I kept thinking to myself... I have a waffle maker, I can just make this at home! Anyway, it was still delicious.
The place is small with can pose an issue for the busy weekend mornings. The ambience is OK... I really like to orange walls and white furniture. But I hate the fluorescent lighting in there and the floors look dingy. That doesn't affect the quality of the food and service though. Just sayin!
We will definitely be coming back here for their reasonably priced breakfast combo (5.49 for a regular waffle, eggs, coffee, and bacon or sausage). Might even get one of the specialty waffles for a dessert after dinner one day (too much sugar for breakfast for me!). Plus, its always good to support local business!
