| - Had to update my review because I FINALLY treated myself to a prenatal massage at 34 weeks and it was fabulous in every way.
Summer was my MT and she was great. I'm not into deep tissue massages - I like pressure that relaxes me but doesn't hurt. She used the right amount of pressure in my tight spots while still maintaining a tranquil massage that melted me into total relaxation.
I absolutely LOVE the "belly" pillow they use on the massage table. It makes it possible to lay on your stomach at almost any stage of pregnancy, which we know is completely impossible otherwise! There's a perfect cut out to support the breasts and growing belly and it makes it as comfortable as a non prenatal massage (if not more comfortable).
The Belly Bliss store makes you want to spend money like it grows on trees! They have awesome mommy and baby merchandise. Maternity and baby clothing, books, diaper bags, health and beauty items, essential oils, etc. It's not a big store but you could browse FOREVER.
The yoga classes are incredible. Kris, the current instructor, is amazing. She is a great yoga instructor with such a wide knowledge base about pregnancy physiology and how it might affect the yoga practice. Her class is my absolute favorite part of the day!!!
Belly Bliss also offers classes on almost any perinatal subject (childbirth classes, breastfeeding, pregnancy basics, etc.).
Belly Bliss is located on the second floor of Desert Perinatal Associates in an office park on Fort Apache and Russell. It's the most amazing resource in the Las Vegas valley devoted to pampering and educating pregnant women!!!!
