| - BEAUTIFUL FURNITURE BUT BE READY FOR A HEADACHE
My husband and I had just purchased a house in Gilbert, AZ. We were excited to furnished it with good, long lasting furniture. We visited many stores, and RH was one of the stores that stood out. We instantly knew we wanted to furnished our living room, and dining room from this store.
At the store everyone was friendly, and they had multiple rooms with different design styles. I loved it! It gave me ideas of how I envision my home. We were advice by Kevin to send and email with all of our information. That's where the problems began. We never got a response. We sent multiple emails, called to set up appointments, and nothing. We couldn't get through someone to help us. It's sad because we were ready to spend serious money at the store, and it's like we were not welcomed.
Then finally we got through, and we got an appointment with Charlie. She came to our home and helped us choose some furniture pieces to make our living room, and dining room look great. She was nice, sweet, and very helpful. We were happy with the company once again.
About a week later we received a call from the delivery company... We were told all of our items were been deliver, and then we got a second call that our dinning table was not been deliver. We were receiving dinning chairs, but no dinning table. My husband call RH customer service line, and they told him that the dinning table was been deliver that day. Long story short the table didn't arrive, and we are currently waiting for it.
Clearly RH has some communication issues between their departments, and contacting customers. What surprised me is that after my husband complaint to the manager, and explained all the trouble we have gone throw with the company. The manager seem to understand our frustration he apologized, looked into getting our table deliver, and offered us a gift card as a token of goodwill.
After reading the news about the CEO's memo to his employees got me thinking.. The company knows they have a problem in customer service, and I am glad they are doing what they can to change. After all of this headache I will go back to the store and buy more things for the house.
