As stated on many consumer complaint websites, ADT DOES NOT CARE bout PEOPLE, ADT only cares about 1 thing MONEY. ADT is no different from the many greedy cooperations that trick consumers into long contracts with promises of excellent customer care and prompt service delivery; then once they have a consumer in their clutches, they neglect, dismiss and exploit the consumer with impunity.
ADT FAILED TO SECURE our home when our alarm was activated and that speaks volumes for how low their SECURITY measures have deteriorated. We paid for security NOT the appearance or promise of security. ADT failed to call as is stated in our service agreement and therefore was in breach of the contract. Charging us an early termination fee because we did not give them an opportunity to fix the problem before deciding to terminate service is highly unethical. It is understood that the contract and the payments we made were indeed the "OPPORTUNITY," not after our home has been burglarized and the ADT ALARM COMPANY FAILED TO RESPOND. The failure of ADT to protect us prompted us to cancel and we are not interested in using a company that has demonstrated such poor service delivery. ADT failed to deliver the agreed upon service when needed, which was to Call our home when the burglar alarm was actived as agreed.
That is clear from the many sad and frustrated consumers like me. Shame on you ADT. Corporations have psychopathic characteristics.
