| - Unfortunately, I was hoping for better. I love trying out new coffee shops when visiting new areas, so before a doctor appt, I decided to grab some coffee at this local spot. It's fairly small and simple, which was fine, but it went downhill from there. I really wanted a pastry to go with my coffee, but the pastry display was pretty bare and it was still quite early. The only choices were pretty much desserts and because I needed something in my belly, I went with the "brookie", which was described as half cookie and half brownie. I also ordered a caramel iced coffee, which basically was just iced coffee and the coffee itself wasn't my favorite. When my coffee was ready, it was just placed on the counter...no eye contact, no calling out of my name or the drink...nothing. When I opened the brookie, it was pretty hard, so I brought it home to my daughter, who said it was good but hard. Based on this experience, I probably won't return...
