  • If I could give this hell hole zero stars, I would. Take a seat, grab a drink, and find some snacks friend. I moved in here February 10, 2017. I was shown a permanent model and Donna refused to show me the actual unit (though it was admittedly uninhabited). I grabbed my keys the day of move in and immediately noticed that the front door was previously mangled and kicked in. In fact, for my entire stay there all I had to do (from the outside and inside of the apartment, it didn't matter) was profusely jiggle the handle to unlock the deadbolt! :) Super convenient for when you can't find your keys. I also noticed not one, but two deep holes in the walls. One directly behind the front door and one in the closet in the bedroom. Now, I was told this was a "fully remodeled and upgraded" apartment. There were tens of holes all along the living room walls, and the sliding glass door to the patio was all sorts of screwed up. To describe it best, the wall where the door should shut against was so swollen that the top and bottom of the sliding door were about an inch away from the wall and the lock was busted, so not only did my door never close, I couldn't even try locking it. When I brought this to Jay's attention in the office she said, "mine is that way too but since you're on the third floor it's not an issue." Excuse me?? Is that the standard you hold your property to? Also, to add some icing on this already overloaded cake, as I casually walked past the fridge the day I got my keys, I noticed a rather large piece of tape stuck to the back, come to find it had a mother and entire nest of dead ROACHES. Now I know some people are cool with that (no hate if bugs are your thing or something), but this girl ain't with it. My dryer was broke for a straight 7 days from move in and it took 10 calls to the office to get it fixed. The pipe under the kitchen sink burst TWICE, the first time I actually had raw sewage coming out of the wall and splattered all over my floor. I could actually see indistinguishable pieces of food that were NOT MINE in my kitchen!! It looked like vomit, to be quite frank. Every time I ran the dishwasher about two gallons of water leaked all over the entire floor as well, and the refrigerator and freezer would make this horribly loud sound on and off all day and night. I could seriously hear it coming up the stairs...You know the sound an old mustang makes when oh finally get it to fire up? Yeah. Though that began happening less often, the fridge and freezer were riddled with a new problem: they fucking turned off. No particular warning or schedule, every now and then they'd just turn off long enough to melt frozen meats and ice cream, then turn on hours later like nothing happened? Ok. A month into my stay and literally 23 calls and 5 work orders later, nothing was fixed except the dryer. In fact, towards the end of my two month stay, the AC stopped working! Emergency maintenance never responded to any calls, and though they began work on the patio door, they promised to finish "tomorrow" many weeks ago, never showing up again to finish the job. I am happy to report that after finally giving into the obvious S C A M they're running, maintenance entered my apartment UNAUTHORIZED and unprofessionally shoved some putty in the hole behind the front door, kindly closing out all my work orders and marking them as "all fixed and new again." I gave my 30-Day notice the day before making my second month's rent and told them where to shove it. You know a place is horrible when you're willing to pay $1,600 just to get the hell out of there. Thought about opening a lawsuit, since they so clearly know what there doing. My advice is don't even bother, they spend ALL their money on the outdoor appearance but the inside and the tenants are absolutely, positively, a-w-f-u-l! If you're looking for a truly wonderful place to call home, honey this isn't it. I'll gladly provide anyone with photos taken the day I moved in! Also, the ONE time maintenance came, they left the entire book of work orders in my house and never came back for them. There were almost a hundred (submitted weeks before mine) about doors that didn't lock, appliances not working, no air, and severely backed up toilets which they failed to respond to. So clearly I'm not the only one!!
