  • Freshii has recently made its way to the GTA opening several stores in the area. The new Freshii which is located in the plazas outside of Vaughan Mills is the one i went to. It's in the corner of the plaza with the supermarket. The environment is clean and bright with the people working looking very friendly. You basically just pick up your food and can sit on the tables inside the restaurant. I've already had lunch so I opt out of the food and just went for one of their smoothies. I've heard great things about the store and was excited to try it out. I ordered the "Freshii Green" smoothie which consists of kale, spinach, pineapple, avocado and low fat frozen yogurt. The smoothie was rather expensive. It came to about $6.75 after tax which I was fine with but when I got it, it was a lot smaller than I have imagined. It tasted rather sweet though, a taste I would rather have than a sour taste which is what I feel like the Jugo Juice mighty kale tastes like. Even with the expensive price tag, I really enjoyed the smoothie but I'm not sure if I would get it again. I would visit again just to try out some of their foods such as their bowls and salads. This brand new place is giving Vaughan a few more healthier options.
