Given my penchant to skepticism I stayed away from Lena for the longest time because of all the hype when it first opened. Boy was I wrong. The interior is impeccably designed, utensil choices are tasteful, it's a wonderful space to be in. The dishes we had were delectable; the portion size is moderate but the flavors left me fully satiated. But here's what sealed the deal: service. Restaurants in Toronto, for the most part, are lacking in competent and attentive service. Not Lena. I was pleasantly surprised by the service and what seemed to be a well run operation. Can't wait to return. Might up the review to 5 stars once I know the consistency is there.
