| - The house wares place to go for anyone preferring to support locally-owned businesses. Plan to spend a good amount of time browsing, with plenty to look at and even more little gems and deals if you take your time looking through the clearance aisles and digging into their racks. If you know your prices and quality of items that you're in the market for before you start shopping, you can find some good values here.
I especially recommend the store if you're looking for a teacher's gift, Halloween themed decor, holiday decor, spiritual themed decor, beach house decor, themed-party wares and general home pieces/small furniture, then this is a good place to start. Prices are comparable to Hobby Lobby with their discount coupons or Homegoods with similarly themed items. However, here everything is 50% everyday, no coupon needed, and their clearance section is a good variety (on the day I visited, at least) where discounts are even deeper.
Let's talk a little more about SEASONAL DECOR! The nice thing here is, they have a large seasonal section all the time- so you don't have to WAIT for the holiday to roll around to start planning, or if you wait TOO LONG, when other stores tend to be picked over with no additional merchandise to put out, this is the place to head.
As for me, I found a gorgeous grey and cream hanging clay pot, 2 sets of chic party napkins and a candle for $12 - and a holiday reusable shopping bag given as a free item of the day, to boot. They wrapped my pot to keep it safe, had a nice little conversation upon check out- and it seemed that the owner's knew many of the ladies shopping on a first-name basis, so that was nice to get a small-town feel in our big city.
Make sure to follow them on Facebook so you don't show up on a day when they are closed (they are open 12-13 days a month, I believe)
