| - Have to say, I was a little disappointed the last time I ventured all-l-l-l the way over to the Lincoln Village location. They'd changed the layout, which I found to be more confusing than before...didn't seem to be much of a rhyme or reason to it at all. And is it just me, or have the prices kind of gone up?? I don't know for sure, just seemed like for the quality of pieces I was finding, the prices weren't justifiable. And speaking of quality, man-oh-man there were a lot of rips and tears and stains and other obvious defects that I saw that day...did I just stop in on an "off" day?? Practically everything I picked up was defective in some way. Truthfully I've never had that problem before, so I'm not sure if it was just bad luck or if things are going downhill a little bit. I actually found a dress I liked and wanted to buy, except for the fact that a substantial piece of it was literally falling off (hanging by a thread), and when I pointed it out, the cashier told me they would not lower the price at all. It was priced too high to begin with, even if the dress had been in perfect condition. Needless to say, I didn't buy it and was left with a bit of a sour taste in my mouth.
I've been a longtime fan and have made the drive over here many times specifically to shop at My Sister's Closet...but as much as it saddens me to say, based on my most recent experience at this location, I probably won't go out of my way to visit again.
(HOWEVER, all that having been said...I have to throw in a kudos for the dressing rooms, they're HUGE! And the mirrors are high quality. And the lighting is really good. I didn't remember thinking much of the dressing rooms before, but they made quite an impression on me this time around.)
