We drove in today from out of state and bought a Subaru Forester from Peoria Subaru. We found the car online the day before and we negotiated a fair price by phone, with the sales manager, Chris. It was comparable to the lowest prices on this car in the area, but I really liked that bonus services and features were optional, whereas the other dealer that had a competitive price was forcing us to add on lots of stuff we didn't want in order to pad their profit margin. Peoria Subaru wanted us to buy what we wanted - they offered us the other stuff, but didn't push us one way or the other towards it. We refused it and they were fine with that. It saved us about $2,000. So, we drove to Arizona and bought it. Spencer was very personable and provided great customer service. He even programmed our phones to the Bluetooth of our newly purchased car, something which we would have had difficulty doing on our own.
