We took our puggie to The Dog Salon last weekend to get his nails clipped and also because he was beginning to smell like a foot. No one likes that on the couch! So, we dropped him off and a few hours later, he emerged smelling like a bowl full of ripe peaches. I do not exaggerate here. His nails were clipped perfectly, and I'm glad they dealt with it instead of me since he throws a fit everytime and whines like he's being tortured. The downside for me was that he didn't appear to be brushed at all. When I got him in the car, he shook and fur flew everywhere! It was literally coming out by the hand full when I rubbed his back. Pugs have two coats and have to be brushed post-bath/drying or its out of control. For the price we paid, I would have liked to see a more complete job done.
