  • I will never ever go to Leslie's for parts or device. I have a Zodiac Barracuda pool cleaner that needs a new diaphragm and o-ring. I did some searching to make sure I had the right part number and found the info on the JPS web site. I called this Leslie's Store to get price and availability of the part I needed and was told the price was $43 plus tax. NO WAY!!! The part from the MFG. is only $7.99 and I found the same part on Amazon for the same price. When I asked the clerk if we were talking about the same part, the white rubber sleeve that fits inside the cleaner he corrected me and said it was yellow and the one I had must be faded due to chlorine. No I told him I was looking at the part (saved it as a picture) and it was white not yellow. He then informed me that regardless of the color the price is the same. DON'T GET RIPPED OFF BY THESE CROOKS. I called my pool man to make sure I was getting the right part and he confirmed that the diaphragm is the only moving part that needs to be replaced. I ordered the part on Amazon and it will be here on Wednesday, the 13th in time for my pool man to replace it on my creepy crawler. I will miss Nationwide Pool Supply, they would not have price gauged the way Leslie's do.
