| - Sooo many things wrong with this place. The entrance is grand & quite opulent. To get to the restaurants & buffet, you must go into the smoky casino. Yes, apparently it is legal to smoke in casinos. The buffet itself was expensive (about $30 person). The food at said buffet isn't anything fantastic. The crab legs are cut in half so that you don't have to use a tool of some sort to get to the meat (unusual in my book). Now, on to the dreadful room. Peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, leaky faucet in bathtub, & mold on caulking in bathtub. There is no wi-fi in the room, just ethernet. The beds were okay. Seriously nothing to rave about. The amount of electrical outlets was just bad. Not enough. Not enough for 4 people to use. And the way that they were located was just not quite accessible. No fridge & microwave in the room. In the age of this century, a lot of hotels are putting fridges & microwaves in the rooms. Just not this hotel. The placement of the thermostat was just weird. It was near the window. WTF????? It is electronic, which I give thumbs up to. Who puts a thermostat near the freaking window???? Parking was okay, but a bit confusing on how to go up a level. Thank goodness that this hotel will have a remodel next year or so. The only 2 great things about this place were Starbucks & a free tram to get to the hotels nearby. If you have a problem in your room (broken light, etc.), they come really quick. Great staff, but just poor room design.
