Being a local to this neighborhood I really get a chance to see all this market has to offer week after week. If you are thinking that this is going to be a gigantic farmers market that you might find a little bit more south from here then think again. This is a very local small neighborhood market where you can still expect to find everything you need.
The NoDa neighborhood already puts out an extremely relaxed and artistic vibe that will be further represented by the fine folks that set up here on Saturday mornings. Fine cheeses, local honey, fruit, and vegetables are all here.. Plus lots more!! There are even really cool t shirts you can buy to help represent the neighborhood and the farmers market.
The prices are pretty typical I would say. We are talking about extremely local products here. Honey that is made less than a mile away or produce from a farm just outside the city. You'd expect to pay a little bit more than what you would at Harris Teeter because you get the added benefit of knowing that these products were made locally and with care.
If all else fails.. Stop by take a look around. Meet some nice folks and have a good rest of the day in the neighborhood.
