| - I've been in here twice and I will definitely be back. I can compare this store best to a Sprouts Farmers Market, however Natural Grocers produce section is much smaller, and much more expensive. I will continue to go to Sprout's for affordable produce. I like to try to eat healthy, and even organic if the price is right, but I will admit that often times organic items are just too costly for me.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that some of the items I was looking for outside of the produce section (hummus, kombucha, honey, etc.) were comparable and even more affordable than Sprouts or WF's. So I feel like the prices here are hit or miss. Some prices are great and some are not.
Good customer service, too: I was greeted twice as I was walking around and asked how I was doing and if I needed any assistance.
If you're looking for a healthy market, check it out! But remember to bring a reusable shopping bag, as they do NOT have shopping bags. I panicked a little when I saw the sign as I walked in, however for those of us hippy-wanna-be's that are just not crunchy enough yet and leave the bags at home EVERY time, Natural Grocers will gladly pack your purchase in a cardboard box that they recycled from their back room.
I'll be back from time to time to pick up a few things I may need, but you won't see me in here doing a huge grocery shopping haul solely because of the prices.
