  • I thought the donuts were just okay. I came here because I thought they were featured in a donut contest in one of the magazines. I mentioned the article to the lady behind the counter and she had no idea what I was talking about. Oh well at least I'll get good donuts. But after taking them home and trying them they were all just average. Also, the Thrifty ice cream they sell is in tiny scoops. So not like what real Thrifty ice cream shops serve and didn't taste quite right. Maybe a little freezer burn? I dunno. But it was off.
