We stopped by the punch room whilst visiting the excellent jazz club in the lobby. At first the visit seemed promising. The doorman was welcoming and it had an air of exclusivity. And it was quiet compared to the noise below. However it went down hill from there.
Our server wasn't particularly friendly; I'm not sure she smiled at anyone. The drinks were expensive, which we expected from a place like this. But they were also terrible, which we didn't expect. The wife got a house special pisco sour which didn't taste like a pisco so much that it did like sugar and ethanol. I had a $9 beer which came in a can, which still had the $3 rrp on the side. Also tasted awful. And to top it off, the wife wasn't feeling well afterwards. Probably from the egg off the pisco. It's a shame the experience wasn't great since the view is nice from here.
