Two stars + "Meh. I've experienced better," and that's exactly how I felt about this place. I ordered Dan Dan Noodles, which should be a spicy Sechuan dish. There was even a chili pepper next to it to mark it as spicy. I *adore* a nice bowl of Dan Dan noodles, so I was looking forward to this. When I ordered it, the waiter asked, "have you had this before? " because he wanted to be sure I knew it was spicy. I assured him I've had it many times. Total let down. A teaspoon of chili paste sitting on top of the noodles was the *only* bit of spicy. No chili oil? Not even the mince pork had any heat. The broth was basically dish water. Zero depth of flavor. I asked the waiter for more chili paste. I think he sensed my disappointment because he gave me like three tablespoons' worth. I used probably half of it to get any semblance of heat. So yeah, if you like really Americanized Chinese, maybe this place will work for you.
