  • Took in my Honda motorcycle gas tank to be restored/cleaned for about $100. Got it back 4 days later and luckily we decided to rinse it out. Lots of crud still came out. Took it back and the service department was awesome and re-cleaned the tank as a courtesy. Picked it up and it was noticeably cleaner than the first time, took it back to the shop to install immediately so there was no "flash rust". Rinsed it out again with gas just to be sure all was good...STILL A LOT OF SEDIMENT! Out $100 and ended up spending additional $120 for a different shop to clean and seal.
