rev:text	Very disappointed in the new ownership. I certainly can't speak about what the financials were when they took over, but either things were good, or not good. Something there made them make the changes they did. One day I walk in and all of a sudden, my favorite dish, the Kalbi Short Ribs went from $11.99 to 16.99. I bit the bullet at the time because one thing they were known for was their generous serving. They usually have gave you 5 strips of the short ribs. I told myself $11.99 was a steal, $16.99 is a huge jump, but I guessed the portion was worth it. When the dish came, they now only give you 3 strips of short ribs. So I can't blame anyone but myself. I just ate it, and left. L I will say this, their service was, and still is one of the friendliest in town. The cooks are still doing a great job as the ribs still tasted good. This where the 2 stars come in, it's one star each to thank to them for their hard work. I simply can't give these new owners any more of my money. It's not the prices, I spend a hell of a lot more at other establishments, but the way they did it was not smart. It's the principle. My quest begins for a new Hawaiian BBQ place...if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know! Response to owner - I trust that you know the quality is even better. Quality of beef was never an issue for me. That's why I always went in the first place. The quality is still great. You asked an earlier reviewer what dish changed portion. Well, the Kalbi Short Ribs is one of them. Higher price, and lesser quantity.
