  • This disc golf course is located in the community of Fountain Hills. The course itself is in Fountain Park and goes around an enormous man made lake. It also boasts a fountain in the middle of the lake that shoots over 300 feet into the air and hosts the pro disc golf tour. The course is free to play and is challenging for every level of player. Besides the water hazard of the lake and the well placed trees. The golf disc chains are located near residential housing, street car traffic and other park goers besides yourself (people walking their dogs, joggers, bicyclists). So you need to be careful on some disc throws not to hurt anything or anybody. Definitely know your game especially your limitations. Being a beginner in the sport. I found the course to be very fun. The large park is very beautiful and well maintained. One of the nicest parks I have ever been to. The locals are very friendly. We had a few people watch my friends and I play with some amusement and weren't afraid to say "hi". Definitely didn't run into any haters of disc golf. To sum it up. One of the best disc golf courses I have ever played on. Play disc golf here.
