I went with a friend who just moved to town. We were both excited about a buffet with a locals discount but were sorely disappointed. We waited an hour and half under hot lights with no air. I actually over heated. Not once were we acknowledged in line, given a wait time, or thanked for our patience. We weren't even offered opportunities to buy drinks during out excessive wait.
When we were about 10 people away from being seated, a family of five two groups behind us was being told that their coupon wasn't for this buffet. Rather than teach their children a lesson in personal accountability and reading, they made a fuss and..requested the manager. Not only did they get to use their coupon for a completely different place they got moved to the head of the line. WTF? They were actually sat ahead of us!!!! We were told the manager was named Nathan.
The food was disappointing and uninspiring. The Udon soup broth tasted as if it was made out of an instant beef broth powder and too salty. Their egg rolls were mushy inside. Their crab legs were very small. Pasta with Alfredo was super bland. Their desserts tasted cheap and the cheesecake was chalky. On the upside, the Mango sorbet was decent.
To boot, our server was slow and our drinks often went unfilled for awhile. For a couple bucks more than this place's regular price, one can get a far better experience at the Cosmopolitan's Wicked Spoon or any one inside the Bellagio.
