  • The Capitol View Farmers Market has matured into a nice little neighborhood event every Wednesday afternoon and evening in summer. I went up there for opening day this season and they were busy which was great to see. A variety of vendors beyond your standard vegetables including baked goods, eggs and cheese from Farmer John! More food carts have been added as well an entertainment (there was a guy strumming on a guitar when I was there) and even events for the the kids. We picked up a bag of spinach and hit a food cart for dinner. Glad this is in my neighborhood!
