  • Hot day in Calgary and we decided to walk to Prestotea right on 17th. The shop was very busy even with the crazy construction outside. I have been here once and really enjoyed it. Their menu is very different compared to other BBT (boba) shop. They focus a lot on the tea versus other location focusing on slush and topping. Today I ordered the Salted foam sencha tea. I was told the sencha is like a oolong tea so I want to give it a try. I asked for half sweet and less ice. The drink overall was okay, I tried mixing the foam with the rest of the tea but it is like oil and water.... it does not mix. So I had to drink it while pulling the straw up and down to get a mix of flavour. This gets very tiring and annoying after a while, but I do like it when I get a good mix of the salted foam and tea. I was jealous of my friends enjoying their drink normally so next time I will get something different.
