| - I booked a room here because of the convenient location, reasonable price, and lack of valet parking, and I wasn't disappointed. It's not the best hotel you'll ever stay at, but there's nothing horrible to scare you away.
-Parking deck is very tight. There are 5-6 spaces in a row on each level, then a sharp, one car wide 90 degree turn down to the next level. When I left, I had to drive further down, pull into another space, and turn around to get out. You'll pay $29/day, but at least you don't have to tip a valet.
-Location is fantastic for sightseeing. There's a subway stop several blocks east or west, and it's right next to the Eaton Centre. You can walk or hop a streetcar easily to just about anywhere.
-The free wifi is awful. We got a strong signal, but it was constantly dropping out or disconnecting on all our devices. I picked this hotel specifically for the free wifi (since I didn't have a foreign data plan on my American phone), and it was difficult to do much of anything on the wifi.
-The room itself is what you'd expect in the middle of a large city. Small, with just enough room for 2 beds and a desk, and not much else. No extras like a fridge or microwave. The bathroom was also small, with very little counter space. Serviceable, but not big.
-No complaints about the staff. We arrived early, and were able to leave our car and luggage there while we did some sightseeing, and checked in later with no problems.
I'd stay here again. There was nothing that turned me off, and it was a good value and excellent location.
