This place wasn't really worth the hype. My husband was beyond excited about going to try this place so we drove all the way to Scottsdale for it. There was a line when we walked in. It gives you time to get acquainted with their process and the menu before it's your turn to order. Staff was friendly, which is a plus. They offered samples of anything we wanted to try. I tried the chocolate chip cookie dough which was okay... but it was too rich. And too... smooth. You know when you make cookie dough and you put sugar and brown sugar in it and there are clearly sugar granules in your dough so it has texture? This dough had no sugar granules, no texture. And it was room temperature, which was totally disgusting. I was completely turned off by it. So I decided to taste a couple of different ice creams. Those too had strange textures and were way too rich. I ended up not ordering my own stuff and just taking a bite of my husband's. Both he and our niece were super excited about trying this stuff but before either of them finished their cups they said it was just too much. Too rich, too weirdly sweet. I was glad that feedback wasn't just mine. My husband was also completely turned off by the dough being at room temp. I'm glad we won't be driving back to Scottsdale for this anytime soon.
