| - Amazing! My friend and I ordered 5 appetizers to share to try as much of the menu as possible (although we quickly discovered that was too much for the 2 of us, and perhaps 3 appetizers would have been a better sharing choice). I notice that they still have their winter menu on their website as I write this, so their current offering are different:
-Kale falafel: Freshly cooked and served with a delicious yogurt sauce. I'm generally NOT a fan of kale, and yet I loved these!
-Rutabaga with ginger creme fraiche: Neither of us tasted the ginger in this dish, but it was still fantastic. Some of the best creme fraiche I've tried.
-Smoked salmon salad with grapefruit, radish, & other goodies: Nice and light, great for a hot day.
-Poached duck egg with morels and fava beans on garlic toast: Perhaps my favourite dish we had, although it's a tough call with the falafel.
-Cabbage and kumquat salad: I didn't get a chance to try this, but my friend loved it!
These 5 apps ran us $60. For the quality and amount of food we got it was more than worth it. Service was great, very friendly and attentive. Lots of veggie friendly options! The location is very nice, as is the vibe. I'll definitely be back to try more off the menu!
