| - Don't be weary of the semi sketchy outward appearance. As soon as you open the door, the aroma of BBQ instantly increases appetite.
Lizelle, the cashier, was friendly and helpful if it is your first time. Ask anything on the menu. Service was also attentive. Both Lizelle and Karina were making rounds, cleaning up spills on floors, and checking that everyone was doing well.
Seating was on picnic tables which I thought was pretty cool. Different sauces to try and generous if you're taking some to go too. The sweet sauce is like honey mustard, but even their default BBQ sauce is a safe bet for extra flavor. To go boxes and plates are on the counter next to cutlery. It's pretty easy to get what you need.
I noticed their prices increased since last time I was here which was pretty disappointing though (minus a star) . BBQ is always gonna be a bit pricey, but is it worth it? I say, "try it." Trio plate is a safe bet, and for me, it was good for two people. Ribs, sliced brisket, and pork, a side, and a slice of white bread for $17.99. Old menu prices were much more reasonable and would've kept me coming back.
Oh, Don't forget to bring your cup if you're a local...you save $2 on drinks if you remember to have it
