| - This is without a doubt the worst utility company in Las Vegas! I received a letter in the mail stating they were placing a lien on my home for non payment of bill. The problem is I never received the bill. Upon checking their website and my customer profile, they are showing my address as one I have not used in over a year (same with phone). I phoned them and the first guy I talked to said they send me bills by email. I checked my email inbox and have only two emails from them in the last two years, so he is lying.The second very rude woman (Wendy) told me just the opposite, that I was receiving my bill by snail mail. This woman is very rude, talking over me and not letting me speak. The fact that they have my wrong mailing address in their files is strong evidence that they royally screwed up. I put in a change of address more than a year ago. I will be filing a small claims case as soon as I get a receipt from this horrible ripoff company with its very rude customer service. They should not be allowed a monopoly in Las Vegas. I'm sure hundred of customers would switch.

I have paid your $212.08 by cash today at your address on Sahara Ave in Las Vegas. I have also initiated a small claims case at the Regional Justice Center in Las Vegas. I will be sending a process server to demand a refund and notice for you to appear in court. I have 100% proof that you sent my bill to the wrong address/ email address.
I was hoping by this time to upgrade Republic Services to 3 Stars, but I cannot do that. After realizing their mistake, they agreed to refund me $132.08. However, they are taking their sweet ass time, even telling me it could take up to six weeks. This is in stark contrast to their own 15 day demand for payment. They are not in the least way giving good service to their customers.
Folks, please do not believe their customer service reps in Phoenix who claim (on many of these complaints from others) that "this is not representative of who we are". It is VERY representative of who they are!
Just read any of these complaints....trash not picked up, half emptied containers, drivers tailgating cars on the freeway, even drivers pissing on the lawns of customers. Horrible, wretched company with extremely poor manners from customer service reps!
