  • My father recently passed away and we faced the grueling task of selling his home and other belongings. We put the home on the market and entered an agreement to sell. We were getting little to no communication from our Realtor and as the agreed upon closing date drew near, I worried that the buyer may lose their loan lock or some other thing might happen to end the deal. I called Kim Hernandez, the title agent and worked with her and her team of Julie and Linda. It was delightful. They went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get some loose ends tied up that my Realtor had neglected to do. One of those thigns was the HOA resale packet. We had ordered it, paid the Association 160.00 and it took a full week for them to get us a link to access the documents. I forwarded it to Ticor and the link was not able to be opened. The HOA people were rude to Ticor and not helpful to me, writing it off as a damaged link and instructing me to simply save each document and print it off or eamail each one from my desk top/ (Why did I pay these guys $160.00 again?) However, the menu would not allow me to save these PDF's. Linda was somehow able to get it to work through time consuming and tedious efforts. I might add that this was a document that they did not need at all for their work, she was just helping me out. Huh. Who knew service was still alive in Vegas? Add to that the fact that I was able to sign mu documents and get them picked up since I was unable to leave to go to their office. Julie emailed me documents, was helpful on the phone and through email and everything was smooth. Title Companies are often something buyers and sellers never think of when they are in the middle of a transaction. But a buyer or seller do have the capability to choose the title service they wish to work with. It can make a huge defference as to the smoothness of what is the single biggest transaction anyone will enter for most people. It can even mean the difference between a deal closing or falling. I am confident that if buers and sellers were made aware of Kim, Julie and Linda's excellent work, they would benefit from choosing them.
