  • Prior to our trip to Vegas, I went on a Yelp bookmarking spree for places to eat and visit, and one of the restaurants that I bookmarked was Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse. Luckily for us, the restaurant is located at the Golden Nugget, where we were staying. We also received a $125 gift certificate for the restaurant after attending a timeshare presentation. It seems like we were destined to dine there! We were able to make a reservation easily through OpenTable on the Yelp app. As we entered the restaurant, we were awed by the restaurant's display of live lobsters as well as steaks and huge lobster tails. The restaurant itself was dimly lit and had jazz music playing in the background. The food at Vic & Anthony's was delectable! To start off our meal, we had the seared scallops with crisp apple slaw; the scallops were perfectly seared and paired well with the mouthwatering apple slaw. We also had the pear and saga blue cheese salad; loved the combination of flavors! My boyfriend and I both ordered the filet mignon and shared a side of au gratin potatoes. Both of our steaks were tender and cooked perfectly to our preference. We ended our meal with their vanilla bean creme brulee...yum! The service at the restaurant was fast, attentive, and accommodating. When we first got there, the hostesses were friendly and they promptly guided us to our table. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu, and even gave us some wine samples to help us choose what we wanted to drink. Our water glasses were never empty, and our completed dishes were taken in a timely manner. Overall, Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse has tasty food and amazing service!
