  • I love the Vilas Zoo, even on a chilly rainy day in November, it was still awesome. It's got a wide variety of animals, and did you know it's FREE? It's one of the last free zoos in the country, so if you live in Madison and haven't been there, you should definitely go! Even in the winter it's great because the orangutans, giraffes and plenty of other animals are indoors. There's more to see outside, but the animals indoors give a nice break from the cold.
