| - Came for dinner on a Friday night at 5pm with a party of 12 and just had the best time! The staff was super friendly, I had to call twice to update my reservation and they were very accommodating. We were seated right away and our waiter (Brad?) was amazing!!! Super knowledgeable and extremely patient with all of us.
The food has never been a miss for me. I've come here several times and tried their jambalaya, a salad and this time a pasta and they've all been excellent. We started with the beer-battered asparagus as an appetizer (it comes with 5 very large pieces and I split with someone else) and the flavor was melt in your mouth good. There's nothing too overpowering (sweetness or saltiness) about the batter/glaze and the asparagus flavor was very muted. This is marked as one of their signature dishes and with good reason :) For my entree, I decided to go a little bit healthier tonight and order the Squash and Cashew Cream pasta, which is both vegan and gluten free and WOW! It was incredibly incredibly delicious, I'm not sure what they put in that cashew sauce but it literally blew me away. Cannot rave enough about this, I'm so impressed considering that its Vegan/GF.
I was able to try bits of the carolina style bbq pork, the fish and chips as well as the stuffed poblano pepper and they were all fantastic.
The service was a tad bit slow, but we had a good-sized party and there were no mistakes in our separate checks (honestly, if an establishment is willing to do this for a large group, they deserve a 5/5), so I definitely appreciated it.
This place is great for a date or to bring a group of friends who are looking for a classy vibe but you can still wear jeans and be comfortable. 4th great experience here and I will be back for sure.
