We signed up for two dog training classes(12 weeks total). Our instructor, on day one instructed us to buy a certain leash and harness. The leash is great. The harness was used only 3 classes, make that two classes because we didn't put it on her the first day. During an outside PetSmart activity, up north the harness broke into a two places. We had to then go chasing the dog in the dark and snow. We examined the leash and it was a malfunction and broke in 2 places. During our 4-day stay, my husband's frustration got the better of him and he threw it away. Unfortunately, reading store reviews and online reviews show that that is a problem with this harness. I went into the store today to explain my issue. I know it's a lot to ask but spending $260 there and three weeks I felt like I'm a good customer. I told him to check my pet perks for card too. The manager told me there was nothing he could do without the leash and that dumpster divers like to try to return things that are thrown away. I would have understood if he would have left it that he couldn't help me, world be disappointed but I thought it was extremely rude that he went and referenced me and a dumpster diver . I'm not sure but I'm going to reach out to PetSmart to see if I can possibly cancel my classes. Or be transferred to another store. I don't know if I want my family and dog and this environment. Very sad.
