Let me start by saying that I HAD to rate this with a star because they won't let you complete the post without it! Trust me, it's not even worth 1 star.
This is the worst experience in youth sports we have ever had. We signed up for basketball only to find out after paying a nonrefundable registration fee that they don't provide a practice facility for the recreational league. Did I mention that it's winter and it's cold and dark around 4:30? How do they expect us to find an court to practice? We found about the time for the first game about 2 days before the game and when the coach asked the commissioner of our division for the schedule, she told him to look on line. On line only has the next 2 games. Seriously?!?!?
We had to pay individually for the uniforms, trophies and pictures which is understandable however, the uniforms that are a Youth Large, might have fit a 5 year old...... maybe. Then we had to pay to get replacements because that's the size we ordered originally. Maybe they should take this suggestion and do a fitting like most organized leagues do. We ordered a specific color uniforms and got something different. The coach requested a name and the league gave us a 3 digit number. Our first game was in a place that holds multiple indoor sports so the girls volleyball teams and their families were walking on the court while exiting the building.
Basically this league is a joke. There are other leagues in the city that are much more organized.
I wouldn't put my son back on this league if it was offered for free!
