Recently, I went to the Container Park to check out a few spots. I've been reading reviews for a long time, and finally decided to stop by.
As a whole, the container park really feels to me like an unfinished Hipster idea. Take some recycled shipping containers and put stores, restaurants, and other businesses in them. The idea sounds really cool; however, I feel the restaurants are really lacking.
The playground in the middle is really cool and using train cars in the back is an awesome idea. The grass; however, looks really fake and feels really cheap. Why even do this? This is Las Vegas. It's in the desert. Go with that... Use that as your theme.
Anyway, as a whole, I have no real desire to go back outside of visiting Oak and Ivy again. There are places similar to this around me that have much better execution.
