  • I came in here for lunch on a Thursday - the place was empty, which made me sad, but it meant that I got my take-out chicken shawarma sandwich very quickly. The server was funny and friendly, and offered me a glass of water while I waited. The sandwich came out in only a few minutes, and was big enough for me to make 2 small meals out of it. It was hot, with seasoned chicken inside, along with lettuce, tomato, and nutty tahini sauce. Actually, I'm craving one now just thinking about it. I was surprised that they weren't more busy, given the friendly service and fresh, tasty food. I hope to have the chance to come back soon - I'm almost never on the South Side, but I'd definitely return if I was nearby again.
