  • This home depot is service and community oriented. It is a delight. The staff are beyond helpful. My husband needed to get 16 foot long Pressure Treated Boards and the staff helped him special order and let him know where the power outlet was so he could cut the boards in the parking lot so they could fit in the minivan. I went here looking for a wooden dowel for my daughter's bunk bed. The gentleman working in the millwork area took the sample I brought with me and helped me figure out that, no, Home Depot, did NOT carry that size wooden dowel. I was new to the area and the store assistant told me how to get to the nearest Lowes which might carry the right size dowel. I mean REALLY! this place is a wonderful community resource. When I go here with my 6 year old daughter the staff in the garden center let her water the plants! (with supervision....) I take my daughter here each 1st Saturday of the month for the craft activities....they are wonderful as is the employee who checks the kids in. I have lived in Virginia, Brooklyn, San Francisco, and San Mateo CA. I have never experienced such a service oriented home "do it yourself" operation. Kudos to the staff and management. Thank you for making South Summerlin/ Spring Valley a better place.
