  • High tea was a pleasant and straight forward affair. The options are just open to the tea selection. The rest of the menu is pretty much set out by Ruelo. I felt weird not being able to pick what I wanted but it actually turned out to be a great experience. The salmon on toast and the mango and shrimp on toast were both delicious and tasty. I wanted more of those! I was surprised actually. The scones were great and I slathered them with the jam and cream. YUMMMM!!!! Overall, it is a great time out to have afternoon tea. I know a lot of the reviews bash Ruelo but just go in and dont expect too much. This isnt a fancy downtown hotel offering. 4 stars ****
