If you haven't visited, I suggest you plan a trip. Admission tickets can be purchased online, but I also suggest following them on social media, in order to be in the know about special events that happen .
Events that I have attended have been Jazz at the Bechtler, where for a small fee, you can gain access to a pretty substantial live performance of jazz. The event is set up just inside the lobby with chairs and some VIP tables, as well as cash bar to the side. The acoustics are amazing .
Another event I've attended is Bechtler By Night . This event is typically free, and allows you to somewhat 'sample' the museum. You will be able to access all floors of the museum where there are exhibits , as well as access a cash bar should you choose. There is generally an activity that art lovers of all ages can participate in as well, so it could be a family outing. The last activity I did at Bechtler by night involved creating your own version of a watercolor painting inspired by a French artist whose work was on exhibition at Bechtler at the time.
The museum itself is a piece of art, designed very well which makes it a neat place to be and explore.
