The Park Theater is a great venue for concerts, but it does have some negatives. Completely rebuilt back in December 2016 it is a beautiful theater and a great size with a capacity of about 5,000 people.
The biggest negative is having to walk through the Monte Carlo hotel. It is under a total renovation (which is badly needed) and there is construction everywhere. You can park at either the monte carlo garage of their valet ($30). Be aware this is also shared with the T-mobile so when both venues have shows, like when we went, it can be extremely crowded with terrible traffic.
Once the doors opened it was quick to get thru security and have our tickets scanned. Everyone we encountered at the theater was friendly and helpful. As you enter the theater the huge chandeliers and gold ceiling make a big impression. I have been to many shows in Vegas and know the drink prices are high, but the Park is beyond insane. I paid $19 for a glass of chardonnay! Some of the drinks were as high as $32.
I found the seats a little narrow but not terrible. I wouldn't rush back here to a concert this year but once the Monte Carlo renovation is done it will be a much better experience.
