| - If I can give it a negative rating, I would. I worked at a bank for 5 years, so I get it and I normally do not take offense at products offered, questions asked, etc. However this bank is one of the many reasons I hate doing business with BofA. I came in not to long ago because my parents have there accounts with them, believe me I don't judge them for it, and I have had an account with them since I was a baby that I literally leave open for those one off times I need to give my parents money and vice versa.
I recently had fraud on my account - they never caught it...I had to literally tell the banker, i think her name was bri or something short like that, what was wrong because she saw nothing wrong with a transaction coming out of my account for a minor $10 (but my 15 year old self would be like omg that's 30 jack in box tacos after a fun night ) to a personal named Brittney, ummm my name is Ashley. Once the fraud department stepped in, they were sweet, but really though that banker should know better and not act like it was my fault especially when I literally NEVER use the account and should be obvious reason to believe it was fraud, and I certainly shouldn't have to talk the banker into putting in a fraud case.
The next thing I did was show her a couple of government docs (id, marriage license, and social security card) to get my name changed over, she didn't want to do it, she gave me the dirtiest look. So I asked her if she wanted to do it cause I nv an wait for another banker, and gave a beyond fake smile and said it was fine. She told me I needed to open a new account because they no longer offer my type of acccount, which I know is a lie. Just because they don't offer the account does NOT mean I need a new one, so I said no. I'm assuming as she was changing my name she began to tell me the fees I would have on my account if I didn't open a new account, I told her I was fine for now. After she finished my name change she was like "you're done" and I replied "I am? Or you are with me? Because I actually need a couple more things done" again, I got that super warm and signature stank face from her she paused and it got real awkward so I just rolled with it because I needed this done and who WANTS to come back to that? So in told her because both the fraud and name change I need a new debit card and she was like "ok, you don't need a temp card right? No? Didn't think so? Leaving no room for me to say yes yes yes in between, because it was a YES. So I let her finish and had her order it and after she was done I stated that I did need a temp card and she rolled her eyes and said "oh its too late for that, you have to wait!" So I had finally had it, i got up and said then you get up to the teller window and pull out the cash I need and btw there better not be a fee because of the type of account that I have. She got my cash. Before i left she said, when you see that charge on your account remember that ig told you about it since you song want to handle your business today....
I left, and in the words of "bring it on - she must be touched by an angel" because I wanted to slap her for disrespecting me. Fast forward to today over two weeks later, still no sign of debit card. I called over to the customer service line, come to find out she never even ordered my debit card. Thank God for Justin (props to him for cooling me down via phone) ordering it, over nighting it, and not charging me and making me happy....well with his service. I mean seriously that girl has some nerve. I will be going in one more time, but only so I can talk to her manager and let know the kind of staff she has present. Being a customer for 28 years (had my account since I was 1) and that's the kind of service I get? Needless to say I am so disappointed with there service, it just might be a cold day in hell if in ever do business with them.
