Their chicken fried steak is enormous. It is literally hanging off the sides of the oval plate. My problem is that there is just a stripe of meat in between two thick coatings of breading. On its own, it's very bland; but with the gravy and variety of condiments on the table it comes to life. I suppose it's a matter of taste; but I would prefer the option of a traditional, smaller, thicker, piece of meat with the same breading and a little seasoning. The mashed potatoes are real and tasty as is the corn. The biscuit is... OK. Seating is cramped and most seats are occupied. Wait staff is personable.
They do a good business. I left full; but still craving a traditional chicken fried steak.
