This may be the first post that I have about anything else other than food.
However- I am so pleased with Time Central's wok on the warranty for my Movado Bold. That I thought I should post. A year into purchasing a rather expensive watch - not because it is anything special. More so for the brand. I noticed the leather on strap was peeling. I made due with it as it was too much of a hassle to get repairs done.
Then one morning on daylights saving time- I try to adjust my watch one hour. The whole crown pulled out. I pushed it back and the dial wouldn't spin. I was so upset. A $500 watch should have better quality. I take it back to my retailer Watch it!- they advise me that there is a shipping charge and that company who fixes watches on behalf of Movado might charge labor charges as this is for wear and tear. Instead of being a fool and allowing the retailer handle the repair for me and have all these "hidden fee's". I decided to take the watch to Time Central.
2 Weeks later- i get a call to pick up my watch. Mind you: my warranty was strictly for the crown (dial on watch). However Time central went out of their way and upgraded my strap that was beaten up to a much better-sturdier strap. They fixed the movement on my watch- so its not japan only anymore. It was more than I expected and literally made my day.
Thank you to whoever got my work order and worked on my watch.
